Make A Submission

To make a submission, you must first create a HOPOS 2020 account.  To do so, click on the Create an Account tab above and follow the instructions.

Once you have created an account and are logged in, go to the My Dashboard page and click on My Abstracts. There you will see a green "Submit Abstract" button.  Click on that button and follow the instructions for submission.

Note about Symposium Proposals

Symposium proposals must be submitted as a single submission by the symposium organizer and must include: the title of the symposium; a symposium summary statement of no more than 500 words; titles of the symposium papers; and abstracts of the symposium papers, with each abstract being no longer than 500 words.  To complete the submission, the symposium organizer will also need to provide the names, affiliations, and email addresses of all symposium participants (who are labeled as "co-authors" in the submission system).

To make the submission, the symposium organizer must have a HOPOS 2020 account but it is not necessary for all symposium participants ("co-authors") to have an account prior to submission.  However, if participants ("co-authors") have created an account prior to submission, the symposium organizer should use the email addresses that are linked with their HOPOS 2020 accounts.  If any symposium participants ("co-authors") have not created an account, or have not created one that is linked with the email address specified by the symposium organizer, an account will be created for them at the time of submission, and they will receive an email notification that includes automatically-generated login credentials that will allow them to log in and update their profiles.

For additional information about the submission process for symposium proposals, click on "Submit Abstract" on the My Abstracts section of your My Dashboard site.  Under Submission Type, select "Symposium" and you will be redirected to the Submit Panel Abstracts page where there is detailed information about the steps that need to be completed to submit a symposium proposal.
