Local Transportation: See Getting Around Hong Kong.

Off-Campus Lodging: Those participating in HOPOS 2020 will be able to book discounted rates at three partner hotels near Lingnan University: the Pentahotel, the Hotel Cozi Resort, and the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel.  The Pentahotel and the Hotel Cozi Resort are both located near the MTR Tin Shui Wai Station, which is 1 stop away (5 minutes on the West Rail Line) from the MTR Siu Hong Station that is near Lingnan University.  The Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel is located on Golden Beach and is a roughly 20-minute bus ride away (using the #51 or #53 bus) from Lingnan University.

The rate information for all of these off-campus lodging options, as well as details of the special offerings they are making available to HOPOS 2020 participants, can be found here.  You will also find on that page instructions for how to secure the special HOPOS 2020 rate at the three hotels.

On-Campus Lodging: For registered participants wishing to stay on the Lingnan University campus, we have secured affordable hostel housing in Wong Hoo Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall.  Both are conveniently located near a city bus station and a local shopping mall, and participants will have the option of booking a two-bed or three-bed room. Bathrooms are shared between two rooms (and thus, between four to six people), and basic bedding (duvet, pillow, pillowcase, and bedsheet) will be provided.

Two-bed rooms will be available at the rate of HK$224 ($30 USD) per night.  Three-bed rooms will be available at the rate of HK$315 ($40 USD) per night. Participants staying in these rooms will be required to pay in cash, and can pay either in HK$ or USD.

Some pictures of these on-campus accommodations, and a map showing where the halls are located on the Lingan University campus, can be found here. You will also find on that page instructions for  booking rooms in Wong Hoo Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall.
